How does Brain Gym work?

Like other parts of your body, your brain may lose some agility as you get older. Mentally stimulating activities strengthen brain cells, the connections between them and may even create new cells.

Use it or lose it. The same advise we follow to achieve physical fitness applies to mental fitness. Just as working out in the gym and jogging strengthens certain muscle groups, mental exercises appear to strengthen and enhance cognitive functions over time.

The goal of brain gym it to revive certain mental abilities before they slow down. The computerized programs help to improve brain functions. Some of the areas worked with in the brain gym are short term memory, long term memory, visual-spatial abilities, reflexes and logic abilities.
