Dr. Roy had her training as a medical doctor and practised as a physician for many years. She developed a keen interest in mental fitness and hence decided to pursue this avenue. She completed her masters in counselling psychology from Yorkville University and a post graduate diploma in clinical behaviour science from McMaster University.
She has extensive training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from McMaster University and The University of Toronto. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and psychotherapists.
Cognitive rehabilitation for individuals with acquired brain injury is another area of expertise and interest. She is certified in the use of the "Mental Gym".
Dr. Meade HB.Sc., B.Ed., MEd., ND. Dr. Meade graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. He has an Honours Science degree from The University of Western Ontario and a teaching degree at Althouse College (UWO). Michael further developed his skills in counselling and psychotherapy at (OISE) and graduated in 2004 with a Master of Education in counselling psychology. Michael is pursuing his Doctorate of Education in counselling psychology. Michael works with individuals, couples and families using family therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, and brief solution focused therapy models. Michael is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the American Association of Marital and Family Therapists.
Dr. Scott Morris is a psychological consultant with Cognitive Advancements. Earning his BA in psychology and gerontology at the University of Michigan & his MA in psychology at the University of Virginia & his Ph.D. in Psychology as a specialist in Disruptive Behaviour at the University of Florida.
Dr. Morris offers his services in the following areas: Psychological testing of cognitive and academic functioning, personality development, behavioural function, social and emotional functioning.
Cynthia is a registered social worker with a Bachelor of Education from Ottawa University, a BSW and MEd. In counselling psychology, Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Cynthia continues to study & research mental health issues. She focuses on individuals, family and groups as well as addictions counselling. Cynthia utilizes a variety of theoretical approaches including CBT, Narrative & Solution Focused modalities.
Marion has earned her Masters in Social Worker from Wilfred Laurier University. She received her Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) from the University of Windsor Marion utilizes CBT, narrative therapy for her youth and adult clients and play therapy techniques for children. She focuses on anxiety disorders with children and adults, and has extensive ASIST suicide training and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Training. Marion works with individuals, family and groups.
